The IT Business Solutions Manager is responsible for providing reliable technology solutions and services that meet the needs of the organization. The IT Business Solutions Manager serves as a liaison, working closely with business leaders and stakeholders in support of corporate initiatives and ensures the stability of technology services across all business units.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with business leaders, decision makers, and stakeholders to understand needs, challenges and opportunities; defines business requirements and identifies technology solutions to support business needs.
  • Manages projects and requests for new business services.
  • Aids with process review, analysis, and improvement; often drafting formal process improvement plans.
  • Responsible for coordination and resolution of issues with existing business services. Acts as an escalation point for service problems.
  • Evaluates new and existing services and providers, in an effort to manage operational costs and quality of service.
  • Owns the relationship with ISPs, telecoms, security, and audio/video providers.
  • Responsible for surveillance systems at all locations collaborating Loss Prevention and Operations leadership to ensure optimal placement and functionality of security cameras
  • Manages contracts, statements of work, and other agreements with vendors and service providers.
  • Prepares strategic plans, budgets, financial forecasts, return on investment analysis, and other documentation.

 Additional Job Duties:

  • Provides “ownership” of problems through final resolution.
  • Complies with all department and company policies.
  • Enforces all company software and hardware standards.
  • Maintains confidentiality; ensuring information is handled discreetly and data protected.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Potential to supervise solution specialists and subject matter experts.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience (include certs or licenses needed):

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or college diploma preferred, in the field of computer science or other related academic fields.
  • 5 years of relevant work/management experience.
  • Experience implementing IT solutions to support business processes and needs.

 Minimum Qualifications:

  • Exceptional knowledge of service and application delivery.
  • Strong requirements gathering and elicitation skills.
  • Knowledge of business process mapping and methodologies.
  • Strong and proven leadership skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
  • Highly self-motivated and self-directed.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Must be able to communicate in English.
  • Must have on-call availability.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable to drive.
